Summer's been teasing us, so some friends and I decided to go all out. Board, Bike, Blades...real X-treme. Bright sun, brisk air - Lake Shore Path was beautiful. Here's to days like this.

A Weekend at Lake Lotawana, Missouri
On an impulse, I spent Memorial Day weekend in Missouri. I booked tickets with Megabus - a grueling 10 hour ride. My friend and fellow DJ, Austin, graciously hosted a day party at his swanky 70's inspired pad to kick off Summer. Local bands Shy Boys and Curtain Co. soundtracked our sun-worshipping as we carouseled around the lakeside dock and porch. The water was cold - fit mostly for dipping feet, but a few brave souls ventured in. A wise decision for an evening pizza run to Little Caesars fueled the dancing late into the night.
